Two Babies

I have two cats, Prince (girl) and Cooby (boy), (Interrupted), Questions?
Audience (rise up hands): why did you name a girl Prince?

Prince's first day home
Prince was adopted by my girl friend in Ontario from an animal adoption society. She was just finishing reading a fairy tale book called The Little Prince. It seems like a children’s tale, but the meaningful content inside can be only understood by adult. My girlfriend said she can always detect something meaningful from Prince’s eyes. This was how Prince got her name.

Cooby's childhood
Cooby was bought home when Prince was 2 years old, 1 year after we moved to Vancouver, he was together with many other kittens in a glass display window of a pets store, and he was the cutest one among them. My girlfriend fell in love with him since the first time she saw him, and after we went back home, she missed him so much and even cried for him a few times until I decided to bring him home. He was expensive (OMG), much more expensive than being a cat, but he is so cute that we could not refuse to pay the price.

Cooby finally arrived at his new home-my apartment, followed by Prince’s jealousness. She was sad and she started to hate us. She often circled herself in the corner of the apartment most of the time and even refused me to hold her. Since that moment, Prince was so clear about sharing the love with Cooby, and she thought she will no longer be the focus of the family any more, even she is still being loved. I have to feed them separately, due to the different ingredients in kitten and cat food, but what Prince made a mistake of thinking is that I was feeding Cooby something really special and delicious (Kitten food has better smell), so she had a bad relationship with Cooby and me at the beginning (Come On, this was not my fault)
Don't bother

Beautiful flowers
In order to improve the relationship with Prince, I was forced to feed Cooby adult cat food 4 months before he turned 1 year old. They are now eating the same food, using litter box and playing with same toys.

To be continued …….
